Nope, this isn't an April Fool's joke... we're actually going to Charlottesville! It's been a really crazy weekend, but God provided the unexpected with the University of Virginia. I'm really, really excited. And now I really, really have to do some homework, but I promise to write more soon.
Also, to all of my lady friends who are joining me in No Pants April: Happy inauguration day. Don't your legs feel free and gorgeous?

like not liek.
UM Charlottesville is only 2 hours away from DC! And Luke and I have been there at least once to visit Kevin D'Auria. So now we'll have more reasons to come! (If we ever get another car...).
=)
Hi Abby,
I came here from a friend's blog who is a friend of your mother ( Beth Pinckney) AND realized my nephew knows you, well, Guion! Chris Nelson!
Somehow my sister was telling me about Guion last weekend in So Pines for the Palustris Festival and then showed me your Save the Date. I even called Gail last night to ask what Guion's last name is!! There is a tapestry ( Edith Schaeffer's book ) in our lives and this wove another thread. I will pray all goes well for your wedding. I'll hear from Chris!
I love Charlottesville. When I went to school in VA, I would often go up there to check out one of the many area wineries, hangout in town, or just grab a bite to eat. It was definitely reminiscent of Boulder and it brought me back home. For sure glad you're checking out Cville.
I've heard great things about Charlottesville! It seems like a cool college town. Lauren Winner used to live there, so that automatically makes it awesome in my mind. :o) Good luck with the job search and congrats on your upcoming graduation, as well as marriage!
